Real Estate in Downtown Charlottesville, Virginia

Although a smaller city (approximately ten square miles), Charlottesville, Virginia has a lot to offer families and younger professionals alike. The city provides a break from some of the more congested areas in Virginia, but still gives people a great opportunity to enjoy things like wine tasting, festivals, hiking and music venues.

Charlottesville gives residents and visitors a unique combination of history and cutting-edge technology. Perhaps best-known for being the home of Presidents Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and James Monroe, the city also includes an abundance of other attractions. The city is home to the University of Virginia, which is one of the most prominent universities in the nation. In addition, the University of Virginia Health System gives area residents access to one of the leading academic medical centers in the United States.

For residents of downtown Charlottesville, there is a wide range of things to do. Here’s a list of some of the most popular attractions – whether you are here to stay or just visiting for the weekend.
