Real Estate in 29 North, Virginia
Charlottesville and the surrounding Albemarle County are known for their captivating natural beauty and priceless views of mountains and vineyards. But three-acre lots and nature trails are not for everyone. Don’t assume that Charlottesville and Albemarle County is only for nature enthusiasts. The northern part of Albemarle County has many of the conveniences many are accustom to, but also offers the charm of a small town and quick access to the mountains, nature trails, vineyards, and more via Route 29 that runs north and south through Albemarle County. Along Route 29 there are many established and new neighborhoods strategically located off the main road to provide a quiet and safe place for family living. It is the best of both worlds – proximity to shopping and dining, while still being close to walking trails, mountain views, and orchards. If you time it right, you can catch a beautiful mountain sunset on the drive home from Target.

The natural beauty of the Blue Ridge area is very much a part of the 29 North neighborhoods. There are many trails and lakes such as Chris Green Lake Park and the Forest Lakes Trails for residents and guests. Both are perfect for family hikes and fishing trips. Although my daughter thought they were a sure bet, the fish in these lakes are not interested in hot pink worms.
29 North is also the home of the Soccer Organization of Charlottesville – Albemarle (SOCA) and the Monticello United Soccer Club (MonU), two of the largest soccer organizations in the Charlottesville – Albemarle area. 29 North is the land of minivan-driving soccer moms!
